Milinković-Savić is one of ten players at 202 cm. The others include Werder Bremen midfielder Skelly Alvero (68), Zulte Waregem striker Anosike Ementa (69) and goalkeeper Demba Thiam (72).

What the list tells you:

• Gadellaa stands alone. Nobody else in the game is taller than 206 cm. He was also the tallest player in FC 26, at the same 210 cm.
• Most of the giants are young or lower-rated. Only Milinković-Savić makes the top 20 with a rating of 80 or more.
• Finey is a new name. Some launch-week lists of the tallest players don’t include him, but he’s in FUT.GG’s FC 27 database at 206 cm.

Tallest outfield player by position

FUT.GG’s position lists include each player’s alternative positions, which is why Finey (a CAM who can also play CM, RM, RW and ST) tops five of them. If you want a natural striker, Pyshchur (Girona, 204 cm) is the tallest, followed by Pape Moussa Fall (Metz, 203 cm). Among better-rated strikers, Paul Onuachu (77) and Lorenzo Lucca (75) are both 201 cm.

The tallest good players (80+ OVR)

Most of the very tallest players are rated in the 60s. If you want height and quality, these are the tallest players rated 80 or higher:

Courtois is the standout: the second-tallest player rated 80+ and, at 90, the best-rated goalkeeper on this list. Woltemade, on loan at Juventus from Newcastle this season, is the tallest outfield player rated 80 or higher.

Does height matter in FC 27?

Height matters most through AcceleRATE, the system that decides how a player accelerates. It uses four things: height, Acceleration, Agility and Strength. Male players have to be 182 cm or shorter to be Explosive, and tall, strong players can be Lengthy (slow to start, hard to catch over distance). Milinković-Savić, Pyshchur, Noah Egouli and Haaland are all Lengthy, but height alone doesn’t do it: Finey (206 cm) and Elias Egouli (204 cm) are Controlled. EA slightly reduced the impact of AcceleRATE before launch, so a player’s actual Acceleration and Sprint Speed matter more than the label. Beyond that, EA doesn’t publish how height affects headers or goalkeeping. In our experience a tall player reaches more crosses, but a 6’0” player with 85 ratings beats a 6’9” player rated 62 almost every time: ratings first, height second. So the tallest Pro you can make is a 200 cm (6’7”) Sweeper Keeper, 10 cm shorter than Gadellaa. The tallest outfield Pro is a 196 cm (6’5”) Boss, 10 cm shorter than Touré and Finey. A tall striker tops out at 195 cm (6’5”) as a Target, the same height as Haaland.
